Sandakan Trip part 3

Alhamdulillah... been quite a long time since I've last updated this blog of mine. Huhu. Been busy with test,quiz and everyday life struggle.Hehe.

Anyways, I wasn't able to update earlier about the last day of our trip to Sandakan since it's really tiring by the time I got back to my room that night. Yes, that night.

On the last day of our trip. We have planned to check out and get moving back to KK early. But it turned out that we only managed to gather everyone to the bus before we started to move an hour or so after that. Can't believe myself and roomies for being so much earlier than everyone else that morning that we're the ones to get into the bus.Ha-ha.

Right, that's one of the change of plan. After we've get moving, it was planned that we'll be visiting Sepilok and Hot Spring Poring. It was 2 stopping point there, indeed. But it turned out again that we won't be stopping at any 2 of the planned point. The change of plan was that we'll be moving directly back to KK. Alas, Allah's plan is the greatest plan of all. From 2 stops, we finally had 4 stops.
Two of the stops are Luanti, Ranau and Kundasang. In Luanti, where there are "fish massage", me and my friends were able to perform solat jamak takdim for our zohor and asar. Alhamdulillah. It was such a delight for being able to pray~ Move on then we stopped at Kundasang near the National Park. It was so refreshing that the air there is as cool as the air-cond in the bus. Masha-Allah, looking at everything created by Allah..how could we not being grateful after all that created in this very world is for us as the khalifah and to share with other Allah's creation (e.g: animal, plants, air, water etc) too.

After Kundasang, there are no more stop for us already. Since I knew that the road for Ranau-KK is a bit 'rough' for me, I decided to get my sleep instead of "fighting the dizziness" throughout the rest of the journey.

We arrived in the campus almost 8pm~ brr.. Well, that's one thing that doesn't change from the tentatif since it was stated in the tentatif that we should arrived back in the campus at 8pm or so. Heheh.

Alhamdulillah.. it was such an experience, indeed~ Should be great if I'm able to go there with akhwat~ :)

Sandakan Fieldtrip part 2

Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for giving me yet another chance to live life in this world.

For the second day of our fieldtrip in Sandakan is mainly about our site visit to 2 on-going construction sites, the Sekolah Pertanian Lestari (SPL) of UMS campus and also the Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM). We started moving from the hotel to the sites around 9.00 am. Gather in the lobby first and as usual, there were lots and lots of photo taking session before we eventually went into the bus. =.= typical us..haha.

The first site visited was the SPL campus then only we went to MRSM site. Kinda hot but still it was experience plus knowledge gaining moments~ After that, we went straight to the main town. We got 1 hour to spend there to buy anything and eat. Mariani wanted to bring us to eat the best coto in Sandakan. But unfortunately it was finished (according to Mar, it usually sold out by afternoon). We then went to another coto food shop. Kinda okay but still not the very best. Huhu. Still, I'm very grateful. :)

Around 2 pm we were required back to the bus. The bus moved after we have confirmed that everyone were there. But as the bus moved, we realized that Tony and Nelly were left behind. So, the bus that I followed turned back and waited awhile for them. It was quite hilarious though. Finally, as everyone were really confirmed to be on board.. the bus moved again. This time, unlike the second bus, our bus brought us to Mar's house.

In Mar's house.. I love her house!! Her family were warm-hearted people as well. :) They have prepared almost everything to welcome us, including karaoke set! >.<;; Most of us just sit back and relax while eating and watching come of us karaoke-ing. Karaoke-ing is so not my thing anyway.

Around 3.30 pm like that we went back to the hotel. Some of us will be preparing for tonight's dinner at the Ocean Steamboat restaurant. Me and my room mates are not going so we'll be just in our room, relaxing, buy kfc then eat together in our room and then watch tv. Me and Ema stuck with our laptops while Ina and Lijah sometimes watch tv..sometimes not (reading..sleeping..) but I guess it's time to sleep for them now.Hehe.

Same goes with me, so I'm stopping here. Yay!

Sandakan Fieldtrip part 1

Alhamdulillah.. after 8 hours journey by UMS bus from College E, UMS, my classmates and I finally reached Tyng Garden Hotel in Sandakan.

It was quite fun (for me) coz it's been a long time since I last have journey like this~ and I'm quite excited 'to get out' from KK once in a while.haha!

We're here for our Contract and Estimation class though and there is of course some assignments we are required to accomplished.

For the first 2 hours or so, the journey from UMS to Ranau had made me quite dizzy~ mabuk darat~~ huhu. Maybe since I didn't have much for my breakfast so I'm kinda having gastric on the way.

Reaching Ranau, we went to Milimewa Supermarket to buy some 'asam-asam' (good for long journey.hehe) and some junk foods.hehe. Then me, Ina, Ema and Lijah went to Anjung Selera to eat something~ After that, the journey is continued~

We stopped by in Telupid for awhile for some break. Then the bus started moving again~~heheh. During the whole journey, 1/2 of the time I've spent with sleeping. Hahah. I was sitting alone (it was 2 persons seats) and since I'm conquering the seats, I can quite easily sleep on both seats. Haha. It was still hard though and got my body aching bit here and there. Hahah.

worait.. time to get ready to take bath and then going out to eat. So, I'll continue again next time. InshaAllah tomorrow. Can't type much now anyway.hehe.
